The customer core missions are to protect U.S. national security systems
and to produce foreign signals intelligence information. These
positions support the Signals Intelligence mission, which collects,
processes, and disseminates intelligence information from foreign
signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes and to support
military operations. This customer also enables Network Warfare
operations to defeat terrorists and their organizations at home and
abroad, consistent with U.S. laws and the protection of privacy and
civil liberties.

We have an immediate opening for a Sr. System Engineer . This is a
part-time position.
Job Description:
The Sr. Systems E ngineer is responsible for
supporting the operations and maintenance of the Contra/Octave project.
This will include the identification and isolation of operational
problems. The engineer will also develop software modifications required
by technical upgrades and improvements to operational network and
software environments. This person will also be responsible for
developing improvements that implement new capabilities and new
functions as directed by the technical director of the program.
Required Skills & Experience:
- BS degree (or experience equivalent to a degree) and
6+ systems engineering experience working on programs that encompass
system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution &
evaluation, technical program management and system development.
- 6+ years experience performing and providing technical direction
for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing
of complex hardware/software systems.
- Experience developing systems with relational database
applications in Oracle or Sybase.
- Experience developing systems with object-oriented programming
languages.
- Experience with requirements analysis/generation and
developing systems/software architecture.
- Experience with UNIX (Solaris), NT, and/or Linux.
- Experience with independent verification and validation of
system requirements.
- Experience in developing system architecture/design including:
software, hardware, and interfaces.
- Experience with DOORS.
Qualified applicants may be subject to a background investigation and
must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information.
U.S. Citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with full scope
polygraph are required.
Desired Skills:
- 3 years in leadership position providing technical supervision
to other engineering personnel; solving varied technical & scientific
problems; generating & reviewing designs for technical accuracy, &
completeness within the stated objectives, budget, & schedule.
- Experience with DoD AF Architecture products.
